Ahead of the New Year, a ceremonial event dedicated to state support for science was held in Astana. Ten young researchers from the capital’s universities and research organizations received housing certificates.
An Associate Professor at Maqsut Narikbayev University, Daliya Kaskyrbayeva, became the recipient of a new apartment. The housing was provided as part of the implementation of поручения (instructions) of the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, aimed at supporting scientists, enhancing their social status, and encouraging young professionals to pursue careers in science. The certificates were presented by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek.
“Young scientists are the foundation of Kazakhstan’s innovative development and intellectual potential. Given that housing provision is an important tool for creating a sustainable scientific environment, the state pays special attention to issues of social support. As a result of the work carried out in this area, for the first time, 587 young scientists have been provided with housing,” the Minister emphasized.
It should be noted that Daliya Kaskyrbayeva has been working at MNU since 2021 and has been contributing to the university’s research activities. Her work is published in leading international academic journals.
