Students of MNU Learned About the Personality of Writer Abish Kekilbayev

Students of Maqsut Narikbayev University became acquainted with the personality and work of the Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan and People’s Writer Abish Kekilbayev. The book “Kekilbayev Tulghasy” was presented at the university.

The event was held on the eve of National Book Day. The publication was released with the support of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs as part of the “Tulgatanu” project. The authors of the book are Ulan Aikhodzha and Abay Seifulla.

The collection comprehensively covers all stages of the life of Abish Kekilbayev as a statesman and public figure. It also provides an in-depth look at his moral qualities, his foresight in decision-making during challenging periods, his statesmanship, and his contribution to strengthening national unity and social harmony. In addition, the book includes memoirs of his contemporaries, opinions, and historical materials.

“MNU is a large university that always supports creative initiatives and ideas of young people. The purpose of the book presentation is to encourage students to follow the example of Abish Kekilbayev, to learn and understand the path of serving the nation and the country. He is widely known as a master of literature, a playwright, and a writer. Nevertheless, we should speak more about him as a statesman,” emphasized one of the authors, Abay Seifulla.

It is worth noting that dozens of copies of the book were donated to students and faculty during the presentation.
