Professors of Maqsut Narikbayev University continue to publish relevant legal literature. The university recently presented a new textbook on the administrative procedure of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Representatives of the judiciary, the bar, the legal community, as well as students and faculty of MNU, became the first readers of the textbook Administrative Procedure of the Republic of Kazakhstan. General Part. Volume II. The author of the publication is Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Roman Melnyk. The book complements a series of publications in the field of administrative procedural law.
The textbook was published under the new MNU Press brand. During the presentation, Roman Melnyk noted that the book represents a combination of theory and practice. The publication consists of six chapters, with key sections devoted to the principles and sources of law.
“This work is special to me, as I consider it my first truly Kazakhstani scholarly contribution. Over six years of living in Kazakhstan, I have sincerely come to love this country, and my main aspiration was to create something genuinely useful for all of us. I sought to write a book that combines two often opposing goals: to be equally engaging for students and for judges, lawyers, and legal advisors. Achieving this balance between academic depth and practical value was my primary objective,” Roman Melnyk emphasized.
The textbook covers the key provisions of the General Part of administrative procedure. Through the lens of historical, international, and national experience, the author provides a systematic analysis of administrative procedural norms and institutions. Special attention is paid to the practice of administrative courts, interpretation of the provisions of the Administrative Procedural Code, complex issues of law enforcement, and practical solutions for administrative cases.
It should be noted that the first volume of the textbook had been published earlier and was also translated into the Kazakh language.
