A Job Fair Was Held at MNU

Students and graduates of Maqsut Narikbayev University learned about career opportunities during a large-scale job fair held at the university.

The annual event brought together representatives of more than one hundred companies on a single platform. Among them were government agencies, quasi-public enterprises, international law firms, Big Four companies, as well as organizations from the fields of law, business, tourism, and media. The job fair took place over two days.

“We understand the importance of providing high-quality training for in-demand professionals. The average employment rate of our graduates is around 93 percent, and MNU is among the leading domestic universities in this indicator. We have permanent Career, Internship, and Employment Centers that cooperate with many companies to expand opportunities for graduates after receiving their diplomas. An important role in this process is also assigned to the university’s Business Councils, where our partners and employers provide recommendations on the high-quality preparation of specialists needed in the labor market,” said MNU Provost Anar Ibrayeva.

Participants of the event not only presented current vacancies, but also shared valuable advice on developing professional skills and building a successful career in their chosen fields. Masterclasses, workshops, and guest lectures by experts were also organized for students. The event generated significant interest among both students and graduates.

“I participated in an olympiad organized by the international network of audit and consulting firms KPMG and have already received priority access to an internship opportunity. At the job fair, I also explored offers from Big Four companies and the banking sector. Many students here can gain opportunities for summer internships and full-time employment. I believe this is very beneficial for students, and it is wonderful that the university provides such opportunities,” emphasized MNU student Yulia Zarapina.

According to the educational program rankings of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Atameken, MNU prepares the best professionals in the country in the fields of Law, International Law, Business Administration in Management, Psychology, and Applied Linguistics. In addition, seven other academic programs of the university hold leading positions in this ranking.
