Maqsut Narikbayev University hosted a meeting with the Ambassador of Spain to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, Luis Francisco Martínez Montes, and the Director of the Cervantes Institute in Istanbul, Fernando Martínez-Vara del Rey. The discussions centered on the development and implementation of joint educational initiatives.
During the negotiations, promising areas of cooperation with leading universities of the Kingdom were explored, along with opportunities to expand access to Spanish language learning and deepen cultural interaction. Currently, MNU successfully delivers academic programs that enable students to study several foreign languages. The guests also attended a class at the university where a Spanish language course was being taught.
The Director of the Cervantes Institute in Istanbul also shared plans to expand the organization’s presence across Central Asian countries. It is worth noting that the Institute operates in more than 90 countries worldwide and is a leading organization in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and promoting Spanish and Latin American culture.
