In accordance with Order No. 151 issued by the Chairman of the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Science and Higher Education under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 28, 2022, a Dissertation Council was established at "M. Narikbayev KAZGUU University" JSC for the defense of dissertations for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the specialties "8D042 - Law" and "8D04201 - Jurisprudence."

MNU uses Turnitin products to check students’ written works for plagiarism detection.
All student and staff written work, including dissertations, is checked through Turnitin for textual similarity. The use of Turnitin is governed by the Terms of Use published on the Turnitin website.
By utilizing Turnitin, we enhance the university’s academic integrity policies. We are committed to fostering a culture of academic integrity and adherence to international ethical standards. The MNU Academic Integrity Guidelines have also been reviewed by Turnitin.
The website includes an invoice for payment and an agreement with Turnitin, which is renewed annually. Under the current agreement, Turnitin services are available until August 31, 2024.
