Advantages: The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing is designed to provide students with the analytical and practical skills necessary to excel as marketing professionals. The program places an emphasis on training students to make strategic decisions in the field of marketing. This enables them to explore the market, evaluate consumer behavior, and develop strategies that are essential for success in competitive business environments across diverse industries and fields of activity. The curriculum is developed in accordance with government regulations, labor market demands, and the needs of external stakeholders.

 

Learning outcomes:

  • demonstrate critical thinking skills, written and verbal communication skills and IT skills;
  • demonstrate a sense of responsibility, leadership and effective teamwork;
  • understand and evaluate key concepts and frameworks related to finance, economics, accounting, marketing, and management;
  • understand and be able to apply research methodology;
  • demonstrate awareness of global and local context to determine positioning strategy and marketing mix;
  • analyze and collect information to conduct market research for business purposes;
  • demonstrate decision-making using information from marketing research, information about the need, marketing and financial indicators;
  • create a balanced marketing mix using information about consumer behavior, marketing and communication strategy;
  • develop marketing tactical plans with alignment to organizational strategy;
  • create and evaluate solutions to given marketing problem;
  • examine digital capabilities of the company;
  • identify optimal ways for product and market development;
  • analyze data and information sources for effective development of marketing strategy and marketing plan.

ISE MINORS

Double Degree Programme

ISE students have an opportunity to get not only a diploma of MNU University but also a diploma of a foreign partner university during 4 years of the Bachelor’s programme.

Participation Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a certain number of credits at Maqsut Narikbayev University;
  • GPA of at least 3.0;
  • English language level of at least B2.

Program conditions:

  • studying at MNU and partner university according to the jointly developed curriculum and in accordance with the learning model defined by the agreement (1+3; 3+1; 2+2);
  • students take entrance examinations in accordance with the rules of admission to Maqsut Narikbayev University;
  • mode of study – full-time at Maqsut Narikbayev University and partner university;
  • graduates of the Programme receive two state diplomas: a diploma of Maqsut Narikbayev University on higher education and a state diploma of a foreign partner university.

Educational programmes:
BBA in Accounting
• Successful completion of the required number of credits for 2nd and 3rd year students;
GPA 3.0 or above;
• IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 in each 2+2, 3+1 component – The University is the eighth oldest higher education institution in the UK;
• The University has five campuses located in Edinburgh, the Scottish Borders, Dubai, Malaysia and the Orkney Islands;

• Students are required to pass an internal examination;

• Full-time employment;
• Graduates will receive 2 diplomas from MNU and Partner University;
•  Each year, in September and October (for spring semester applications) and March and April (for autumn semester applications), the University’s International Office sends students to our partner universities for 1-2 semesters through bilateral agreements and memorandums.
