Senior Lecturer / Teaching Professor – Policy Analysis and Quantitative Research Methods

Maqsut Narikbayev University invites candidates to apply for the position of Senior Lecturer / Teaching Professor – Policy Analysis and Quantitative Research Methods at the International School of Economics.

Main Courses:

• Policy Analysis and Program Evaluation;
• Quantitative Research Methods;
• Network Analysis;
• Teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching courses in public policy and quantitative research methods;
• Developing and updating curricula and teaching materials;
• Delivering lectures, seminars, and practical classes;
• Supervising student research projects;
• Preparing and assessing academic assignments;
• Applying modern analytical tools and data analysis methods;
• Participating in the academic, research, and methodological activities of the School;
• Ensuring compliance with academic standards and internal university regulations.

Requirements:

1. Master’s degree from an international university (preferably graduates of the Bolashak programme);

2. English proficiency at a minimum of C1 level (IELTS 7.0+);

3. Preferably an academic background in International Relations, Political Science, or related disciplines;

4. Additional specialisation in Data Analytics, Public Policy, or related fields is welcomed;

5. Experience in applying quantitative research methods and analytical tools;

6. Experience teaching methodological courses in the social sciences will be considered an advantage.
