Course “International Legal Framework for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons”

On April 26, 2024, Maqsut Narikbayev University hosted the presentation of a new asynchronous course titled “International Legal Framework for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons,” developed by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) together with the International Institute of Humanitarian Law (Sanremo) in partnership with the university. The course is aimed at studying key international legal mechanisms for the protection of the rights of refugees and stateless persons, as well as the specifics of their practical application. The presentation took place at the Public Library at 4:00 p.m., and following the event, it was announced that the course would become available to students of the Higher School of Law in the summer semester.
